What is the CPC® Bootcamp?
Great question! Bootcamps are designed for coders-in-training or uncertified coders to brush-up on their skills before attempting the CPC® exam. Taught by AAPC-certified instructors, Bootcamps cover the top areas that students most often need help with. In just 5 days, you’ll have the confidence and preparation you need to succeed on the CPC® exam!
Bootcamps are 10 hours over a 5-day period, either Monday-Friday or every Saturday for 5 weeks. Each 2 hour session concludes with a 30 minute open question period.
What materials do I need to attend a Bootcamp?
You’ll need to bring your own physical or eBook copies of the ICD-10-CM and CPT® (HCPCS optional). Current year books are recommended, prior year books are acceptable. We also require students to join the sessions using a webcam and microphone, to see your beautiful smiles! No additional materials are required or will be supplied.
Who can attend a Bootcamp?
We welcome coders-in-training, regardless of where or how they studied medical coding, uncertified coders who have on-the-job experience, and coders who were certified in the past and are returning to the industry.
The CPC® Bootcamp does not teach coding basics! If you’re just starting out, please consider enrolling in the Coding Basics Bootcamp or CPC® Training Course!
Will I earn CEUs for attending a Bootcamp?
At this time, we’re not able to offer CEUs but we’re happy to share with our students where they can find free and low cost CEUs.
