ICD-10-CM & CPT® Manuals
Bring your own physical or eBook copies. Current year books are recommended, but prior year books are acceptable. No additional materials will be required or provided.
Webcam & Microphone
Our Bootcamps are live and interactive — we want to see your face! A working webcam and microphone are required to participate.

Frequently Asked Questions About the CPC® Bootcamp
What is the CPC® Bootcamp?
Great question! Our CPC® Bootcamp is an intensive, instructor-led exam prep program designed to prepare intermediate and advanced students for the Certified Professional Coder exam. In other words, this bootcamp is designed for coders-in-training or uncertified coders to brush-up on their skills before attempting the CPC® exam. Taught by AAPC-certified instructors, Bootcamps cover the top areas that students most often need help with. In just 5 days, you’ll have the confidence and preparation you need to succeed on the CPC® exam!
The Bootcamp runs for 10 hours over 5 days, with 2-hour sessions each day. Every 2 hour session wraps up with a 30-minute open Q&A so you can get your specific questions answered. Daily quizzes and a post-Bootcamp assessment are included to help you gauge your progress and identify any remaining gaps before exam day.
What materials do I need to attend a Bootcamp?
You’ll need to bring your own physical or eBook copies of the ICD-10-CM and CPT® (HCPCS optional). Current year books are recommended, prior year books are acceptable. We also require students to join the sessions using a webcam and microphone, to see your beautiful smiles! No additional materials are required or will be supplied.
Who can attend a Bootcamp?
We welcome coders-in-training, regardless of where or how they studied medical coding, uncertified coders who have on-the-job experience, and coders who were certified in the past and are returning to the industry.
The CPC® Bootcamp does not teach coding basics! If you’re just starting out, please consider enrolling in the Coding Basics Bootcamp or CPC® Training Course!
Will I earn CEUs for attending a Bootcamp?
At this time, we’re not able to offer CEUs for Bootcamp attendance but we’d be happy to point you toward free and low-cost CEU options! Reach out to our team and we’ll share our favorite resources.
