Live Services Policy

It is expected that students will attend all 16 scheduled instructor-led sessions and will be on time and stay for the duration of each session. Alternative sessions will not be provided for students who are absent or tardy. It is generally expected that students who are absent or tardy will utilize the pre-recorded interactive lectures in place of the instructor-led session.

If a student communicates to A+ Revenue Cycle Training LLC in writing that they are unable to attend instructor-led sessions due to personal circumstances and wish to withdraw, A+ Revenue Cycle Training LLC will allow the student a one-time enrollment transfer to the same training course scheduled for a future date, subject to a $200.00 enrollment transfer fee made payable at the time the transfer is confirmed by A+ Revenue Cycle Training LLC. The student will be required to retake the course in its entirety. Coursework progress will be reset to 0 upon transferring enrollment. New physical and/or electronic media, student memberships, and/or exam voucher(s) will not be provided unless the student wishes to pay an additional fee per purchase, the total price of which to be determined and billed at the time of enrollment transfer.

Every effort will be made on the instructor’s behalf to notify all students of any changes in the schedule due to unforeseen circumstances. Additional instructor-led sessions may be scheduled at the instructor’s discretion to accommodate students impacted by a change in the schedule.

In the event that a course must be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, A+ Revenue Cycle Training LLC will offer each student the choice of either a full refund less prepaid physical and electronic media, student membership, and exam voucher(s), OR allow the student a one-time, no cost enrollment transfer to the same training course scheduled for a future date. The student will be required to retake the course in its entirety. Coursework progress will be reset to 0upon transferring enrollment and 12-month access will restart. New physical and/or electronic media, student memberships, and/or exam voucher(s) will not be provided unless the student wishes to pay an additional fee per purchase, the total price of which to be determined and billed at the time of enrollment transfer.

Each course consists of multiple chapters, each containing 1 quiz, 1 or more pre-recorded interactive lecture(s), 1 course work assignment, and 1 exam, as well as course mid-term and final exams. In order to receive a certificate of completion equal to 80 contact hours of training, the student must submit each graded assignment, chapter quiz, chapter exam, and the mid-term and final exams and achieve a passing grade of at least 70/100 on each submission.

Each student will have access to the course in the Learning Management System for 12 months, beginning on the first scheduled date of the course, and can complete it at any time in that period. The certificate of completion will be awarded via email within 24 hours of course completion.

No statements made by A+ Revenue Cycle Training LLC, its instructors, or other employees should be implied or otherwise understood by a student or prospective student as a guarantee of obtaining a credential and/or gainful employment. It is up to the individual student to learn and apply the information provided by A+ Revenue Cycle Training LLC toward the AAPC credential exam, to the best of his or her ability. Similarly, it is up to the individual to obtain gainful employment following the completion of the course and credential exam. Should a student be unable or unwilling to complete the course and/or obtain a credential and/or obtain gainful employment, the student will hold harmless A+ Revenue Cycle Training LLC, its instructors, and other employees.

Each credential training course consists of 161.5-hour live online instructor-led sessions that occur weekly on the scheduled weekday and time provided at enrollment. For instructor-led sessions that fall on certain holidays, that session will fall on the following weekday at the same time. A schedule containing the exact session number (1-16),date, and time in Central Standard Time will be provided to each student at the time of enrollment and will be posted within the course in the Learning Management System.

The use of all curricula, including but not limited to live or pre-recorded audio and video, slideshow presentations, written coursework, quizzes, exams, etc., the Learning Management System student access account, and all other physical and electronic media are for the exclusive use of the enrolled student.

At no time should a student record or copy with intent to redistribute live or pre-recorded audio and/or video, slideshow presentations, written coursework, quizzes, exams, etc., any portion of the Learning Management System, and all other physical and electronic media, including coding manuals. Students are allowed to take physical or electronic notes for the purpose of personal study ONLY. Redistribution of any content provided for or during a live service is expressly prohibited. Students found in violation of this policy will be promptly removed from all live services, will not be eligible for a refund, and may be subject to enforcement action under copyright law.

Should a student wish to withdraw from the training course or boot camp, they must notify A+ Revenue Cycle Training LLC in writing immediately. Refunds will be provided in accordance with the Refund Policy and any other applicable business policies. The percentage of payment refunded will be determined by the schedule provided in the Refund Policy.
