Designed for newly trained coders, Practicode 2.0 is a 3-part web-based training program that allows you to review and code real medical chart notes (redacted for HIPAA compliance). Not only does the program offer an on-the-job experience at your own pace, Practicode 2.0 can immediately show you where your skill gaps are, as well as your speed and accuracy to help you reach career readiness. Learn a broad range of specialties, as well as coding guideline intricacies that are typically only learned through hands-on experience!

The training program consists of 3 modules, each containing a variety of redacted chart notes from a broad range of medical specialties. You will have 18 months to complete the program from the date your order is processed. While the program doesn’t teach medical coding, it’s acceptable for a coder in training to complete it as part of their study program. Completion of the Practicode 2.0 program with a 70% or higher grade will qualify for 1 year toward your apprenticeship removal.
